WATER (ISSN 2073-4441 ; peer-reviewed ; open access journal) will publish a special issue in 2019 dedicated to “Riparian Vegetation in River Functioning“. This Special Issue aims to provide an up-dated collection of articles, where scientists, researchers and experts can submit their novel results and innovative approaches dealing with the role of vegetation in river functioning (morphodynamics, water quality, flood management, etc.), riverine landscapes, river hydromorphological assessment and river management.
