CONVERGES COST Action has been presented the 9th April 2018 in a new interdisciplinary session dedicated to COST Actions operating in the geosciences research areas entitled “COST Actions in Geosciences: breakthrough ideas, research activities and results (co-organized)”, during the EGU General Assembly 2018.
The participation in the EGU Meeting involved an oral communication by the CONVERGEST Vice-chair titled: “Converges (CA16208): knowledge conversion for enhancing management of European riparian ecosystems and services”, the discussion about potential use of COST Networking tools and about Follow-up activities from examples, illustrated by other COST Actions participating in the same Session, the Networking with leaders of ongoing COST Actions with similar topics (LAND4FLOOD, HARMONIOUS), and the dissemination of the COST Action CONVERGES across participants in the Conference.
