Biography :
My main scientific interests focus on river corridors, the study of their dynamics, restoration and the effects of global change ; specifically, the study of the biogeomorphological responses of rivers with special attention to anthropogenic pressures. I analyze fluvial geomorphology, as well as the factors that explain its evolution, while taking into account the interaction with the riparian vegetation. My overall aim is to contribute to the management of rivers in the context of the Water Framework Directive, where restoration initiatives arise to improve the ecological status considering the effects of global change.
