Biography :
I am associate professor at the University of the Basque Country in Bilbao, Spain. My research focuses on vegetation survey, diversity patterns of plant communities and plant invasion, mainly in rivers, grasslands, forests and mires. I am also strongly interested in macroecological research linking fine-grain ecological studies with the large extent biogeographical view.
